School Year Internships

Student Intern

PIC staff stand ready to fill your job openings at any time during the year. PIC students are motivated and prepared — and they are eager for employment opportunities. Most high school students in the Boston Public Schools can start work by 2:30 PM, immediately after the school day ends. Many are available to work longer hours over the weekend.

Your participation with the PIC will not only help meet your staffing needs, it will also benefit a young person immediately and for years to come. Research shows that work experience during high school pays dividends for students. A student who works in high school is more likely to graduate from high school and enroll in college and to be employed after high school.
